Braces? Please Help Me

I got them on yesterday, and it's not that bad.
I don't mind the eating rules or soreness or whatever.

Anyway, I'm really scared of brushing and flossing my teeth because I don't want to do it too hard.

I'm especially scared of flossing, because what if I jerk it out of my teeth too hard/fast and the wire snaps.

lol. I don't know. I'm just scared, I don't want to break them, but I know I should start flossing.

(this sounds stupid, I know it does, but I was crying because of it. brushing & flossing is the worst part. )

maybe it's because they're so new. I might get used to them after a while...

Any advice???

oh yea thats what happened to me 2 and they do hurt for the first couple weeks but u will get use to them so dont wry u can brush and floss all u want and as hard as u want lol

I've had mine on for about 2 1/2 months now--yea, it's cause they are new. In about a week and a half's time it won't hurt anymore. Just use a soft tooth brush and brush how you normally would, it may cause a little pain because your teeth are sensitive, but it's something you have to do. Also, just floss like the person above me said.

Just take some alieve to help stop the pain, and wait a couple days.
